Parent Support
across the lifespan

Helping children thrive through collaborative, practical support

Every parenting journey is unique — and it’s completely normal to feel unsure, overwhelmed, or isolated at times. Whether you're supporting a toddler who's struggling with big emotions, navigating school routines with your primary-aged child, or advocating for your teen or adult child through systems that don’t seem to fit, you’re not alone.

Many of the families I work with are navigating developmental or behavioural concerns — sometimes with a diagnosis, sometimes without one. You don’t need a label to seek support. If you’re experiencing challenges and wondering what to do next, I’m here to help.

This page is here to guide you through the kinds of support I offer for families at every stage. Choose the age group that best reflects your family situation:

Being a parent of a toddler or preschooler can feel like a constant guessing game.

Is this a phase? Are other kids doing this too? What if there's more going on?

Whether you're dealing with meltdowns, fussy eating, toileting struggles, or just have a gut feeling that something isn’t quite clicking, I help families make sense of what they're seeing and respond in ways that feel supportive and empowering.

You don’t need a diagnosis to seek help — if you're concerned, we can work it out together.

Common challenges I support:

I work directly with parents to unpack what’s going on, offer tailored support, and collaborate with any other services involved (if desired). You’ll walk away with clarity, confidence, and strategies that suit your child — and your family.

Emotional & Behavioural Regulation

🌀 Frequent meltdowns or emotional outbursts 🔁 Resistance to transitions (e.g. leaving the house, changing activities) 📏 Rigidity or insistence on sameness 😣 Difficulty calming down after becoming upset ⚠️ Strong reactions to minor changes or unexpected events 👀 Feeling judged by others for their child’s behaviour

Sensory Processing

🔊 Extreme sensory sensitivities (e.g. sound, clothing, textures) 🤸‍♂️ Sensory seeking behaviours (e.g. climbing, spinning, mouthing objects) 🚫 Avoidance of certain environments (e.g. shopping centres, playgrounds, loud rooms) 😖 Distress caused by specific sounds, textures, or lighting

Communication & Social Interaction

🗣️ Limited or delayed speech and communication 🤝 Struggles with social play or connecting with peers 🔄 Repeating phrases or using scripted language without clear social meaning 👋 Difficulty using gestures (e.g. pointing, waving) or understanding others’ non-verbal cues

Daily Routines & Independence

🚽 Toileting delays or regressions 🍽️ Picky eating or food refusal ⏰ Difficulty with routines or following instructions 🧩 Difficulty understanding or following multi-step directions 👟 Needing extensive adult support for simple daily tasks (e.g. putting on shoes, packing a bag)
